Today, I will post three dwarven fighter/wizard builds. These builds will have similarities as follows:

      1. Each build will attain four attacks per round
      2. Each build will have 25+ wizard levels for eventual immunity to Greater Dispelling
      3. Each build will have the three Autostill feats.

Working within those parameters, the obvious question becomes: what should the third class be? Each build I post gives a different answer: dwarven defender, weapon master or bard. Naturally, each build has its pros and cons.

This is the dwarven defender build. Its pros are as follows:

      1. Dwarven Defender defensive bonuses (defensive stance, dwarven defender awareness, dwarven defender damage reduction 6/-)
      2. The three goals listed above (4 attacks per round, eventual immunity to Greater Dispelling, full Autostill)
      3. Decent saves: 25Fort, 22Will, 18Reflex (+11 on top of that vs. spells)
      4. Improved Knockdown
      5. Decent hitpoint total for a spellsword: 390
      6. Epic Warding

      Cons:

      1. No spell penetration feats
      2. No Epic Damage Reduction or Dev. Crit
      3. Low AB of 39 – however, True Strike can help immensely
      4. No UMD
      5. No Evasion
      6. Cross-classed Tumble

Why might I play this character: The dwarven defender defensive bonuses are potentially very helpful, especially when shapeshifting into an iron golem, for example. A spellsword with a base 6/- damage reduction who is also immune to flanking sneak attacks is pretty cool when you consider the great potential of spellswords and their damage shields.

Final note: I think the adventuring environment is always relevant in every build, and in my case, I build for Swordflight. There are annoying enemies with Greater Dispelling who make the 25 wizard levels really important in my view. Moreover, getting Epic Damage Reduction is less important on a character who can enable Epic Warding for really tough fights. I prioritized raising my attack bonus as much as possible, which resulted in the build as it is. Craft armor and craft weapon skills are quite valuable in Swordflight.

Feel free to comment and let me know what you think of the build.
