      Background:

      This was a pretty simple idea.

      • Wizard 38 for awesome spell penetration, dispel resistance and caster levels.
      • Maximum possible Intelligence (without taking RDD 9+) of 38.
      • Epic spell foci in as many schools as possible.
      • Cleric 1 for empowered summons and to push the Wizard 20 bonus feat to Epics.
      • Ranger 1 for a free epic spell foci and some useful skill dumps.

      Epic spell foci in Necromancy, Enchantment, Conjuration, Transmutation and Evocation.

      I pay for it by not taking Epic Mage Armor and Epic Warding, which is a big cost. One could argue pretty successfully dropping two great intelligence feats (reducing Int by 2) to get these two spells would make the build stronger.

      However I want the best spell DCs and mastery of five schools while accepting some weakness in physical prowess, working around it with good strategy (or a good supply of greater sanctuary scrolls).

      Maximize is also missing, I think Empower is good enough, and this is not a Sorcerer with the flexibility of casting on the fly, so I think I can work around without having Maximize.

      Necromancy specialty school chosen for +1 spell per spell level / day while keeping the Enchantment school, one will lose Divination spells (notably True Seeing and Premonition). Evil alignment so you can cast Prot v Evil on allies so they aren’t affected by your mind affecting spells.

      Spell DCs (with capped Int 50): 

      Lvl 9 (DC 45): Wail of the Banshee, Dominate Monster
      Lvl 8 (DC 44): Horrid Wilting, Sunburst, Mass Charm
      Lvl 7 (DC 43): Control Undead, Finger of Death, Delayed Blast Fireball, Prismatic Spray
      Lvl 6 (DC 42): Chain Lightning, Flesh to Stone, Undeath to death
      Lvl 5 (DC 41): Firebrand, Cloudkill, Hold Monster, Dismissal (gets innate +6 DC)
      Lvl 4 (DC 40): Confusion, Fear, Evard’s Black Tentacles, Charm monster
      Lvl 3 (DC 39): Flame Arrow, Fireball, Lightning, Hold person, Stinking Cloud
      Lvl 2 (DC 38): Combust, Tasha’s hideous laughter, Web
      Lvl 1 (DC 37): Grease, Ray of enfeeblement, Charm person

      No DC save required: Time Stop, Bigbys 5-9, IGMS, ILMS, Icestorm, Darkness, Mestil’s Acid Sheath/Elemental Shield/Death Armor, Magic Missile.
