      This combines:

      • Monk 32, Spell Resistance 58, Monk Speed +100, +6 Monk AC, +8 Tumble AC, +1-7 Wis AC, Improved Knockdown, Improved Evasion, Mind Immunity, Empty Body 50% concealment
      • Weapon Master (Mercurial Greatsword/Scythe) for x5 Crits, Crit range 17-20 with a keen weapon
      • Rogue for trapping, search, open lock, set deadly traps, UMD from level 31 onwards
      • Human for no exp penalties, extra skill points, bonus pre-epic feat

      With the spell resistance 58, a CL 40 spellcaster (ie Pure Wizard 40) will have spell penetration 40+1d20. So to equal or beat SR 58, the CL 40 caster has to roll a 18, 19 or 20. So 85% of spells will be blocked. If the CL 40 caster has Epic Spell Penetration, spell penetration is 46+1d20, so to equal or beat SR 58, a roll of 12-20 is needed, so 55% of spells are blocked.

      There wasn’t room for improved critical, but I figured Blind Fight would offer more than a threat range 16-20 (compared with 17-20 ). If an enemy is detected with Listen, there is an AB penalty when trying to hit them, unless one has Blind Fight.

      AB is 38 which is ok for a support character, but not high. Could have put it up higher, but more spell resistance was needed (see above). Saves are a little low, but spell resistance and mind immunity will help. Enemies with Devastating Critical will be scary!

      Choose a Scythe when in environments that don’t have CEP weapons (such as Merc Greatswords)
